Liam goes home to his new room

Mommy Lynne and Daddy Chris took their little Liam home from the hospital this afternoon. The kids wanted it to be just them and the baby, and so it was - though they were greeted by their "doggie children" Copper, Gracie, and Sully, who were all anxious to meet the new baby! Copper and Gracie are dobermans and Sully is a little Yorkie, and all of them are being so well behaved. No jumping or barking or running around. Just a lot of sticking close to Chris and Lynne and seeming to be very protective of them when Liam is being held. When great-grandparents Nana and Pa came in this evening we all went with them to see the baby. Lynne's mom, Jan, had already gone over to the house with Lynne's sister, Anne, and brother, Freddie. We oohed and aahed over the baby a bit more before leaving Lynne and Chris in peace again. Our next stop was to head out to another of Fayetteville's great restaurants, but Jan stayed as she'll be spending the night. Chris and Lynne wanted someone there to help with the "night shift" if needed. Here are pictures of Lynne's siblings, Nana and Pa at their first Liam Sighting, and some pictures of Liam's nursery. Note the awesome paint scheme, hand-done by Lynne, as well as the drapes and crib linens which were also hand-made by Lynne - incredible work! Liam is such a lucky little boy.
