We made it to Fayetteville about 4:30 this afternoon, dropped our luggage at the hotel, got the dog settled in, and headed to the hospital to see that new grandson! He is the best baby - so alert and good, even though being passed around like a sack of potatoes. He definitely has his sweet Mommy's "laughing eyes" and I think his mouth/chin area looks alot like Christopher's mom's. We found out Liam was 20 1/2 inches long when born, though we're all thinking that wasn't quite accurate since his little legs were still in newborn "scrunched up" mode. Looks longer already today; especially his narrow feet and long toes. And what a full head of hair! (though I think all my pictures so far show him in his little cap.) Mommy Lynne is feeling so much better today. Daddy Christopher was pretty exhausted and went home to get some rest while the grandparents "kept watch" up at the hospital. Several of Lynne's long-time gal pals dropped by as well. After Chris came back up to the hospital we left the little family to have some private time and the grandparents plus Uncle Matt went out for a celebratory dinner! Here are some pictures of Grammie Sharon, Grandpa Frank, and Uncle Matt the very first time we were able to hold our precious baby. Also, a picture of Christopher, Lynne and Liam with Grandpa Frank. We are all in love with Liam!
