The Tag Game (and the family who started it!)

Thanks to niece Amy in Ohio who tagged her mother-in-law (my sister-in-law) Phyllis in Arkansas who then tagged me in Louisiana, it looks like this bloggy game of tag has managed to do some cross-country traveling! OK ladies, I'll play but won't be able to pass it on (you're the only members of my family who regularly blog and none of my close friends have gotten into blogging yet!) So here's my post -

My "fourth folder" picture is of the assembled Past Royalty (or at least those of us still at the firm!) of our Krewe of Liti-gators. That's me in the feathery purple crown. Yes, even law offices can be fun places during Mardi Gras! I love this particular picture, which was taken in my office in the library before we started the Parade of Royalty to kick off this year's party of bead throwing, Zydeco music, cake, punch, and crowning of new royalty. The picture shows that our krewe includes everyone - general support staff, secretaries, paralegals, attorneys - and law librarians! For that hour each year we cast aside the stress and crazy pace that can fill our days for some carefree fun as friends who enjoy working together. Loyal Louisianians, we do know how to Let the Good Times Roll! ...a-hem, within the boundaries of the law of course ;)

Ooops - different Amy was the one who tagged me. But it doesn't matter because I tagged them...just one of those little annoying, but fun, things we do!
