Snow!

It isn't often that the Bayou State gets snow. I think the last time those of us in North Louisiana saw the white stuff was a freak storm during an Independence Bowl game several years ago on New Year's Day. So it was with surprise and excitement (and a certain amount of jealousy!) that we watched the news stories about snow further down south in Baton Rouge and New Orleans earlier this week. The pictures were awesome, but the best ones were from friends around LSU. On the ball field the bleachers wore the biggest white stadium blanket seen in who knows how long! And beloved mascot, Mike the Tiger, frolicked in the strange cold and wet flakes then lounged with regal bearing as if knowing this was the "photo op" of a lifetime! Here are the pics - enjoy!!
